Vintage 1930's rolled gold Art Deco necklace featuring orange faceted glass beads. Rolled gold necklaces were popular from 1914 until the late 1940s. These necklaces were handmade, providing work for injured soldiers returning from the war. Rolled gold is a thin layer of gold on a base metal and fused together by heating.

The necklace measures 41cm / 16" in length, the largest bead measures 1.1cm in diameter.

The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
